I came to Avikai to escape the challenge and stress of everyday life (via wonderful massages & facials) and discovered a whole new way of living through education on healthy eating, weight loss and the unbelievable benefits of FitVibe! You will find that working out via Fitvibe ~ 20 minutes (equivalent to working out ~ hour and one half) 2-3 days a week will soon see a new YOU! Truly! After just 6 weeks following a metabolic diet and doing Fitvibe = 10 pounds lighter, several pant sizes smaller. The staff at Avakai are the BEST - friendly, warm and caring. You will want to move in after only one visit! Open 6 days a week, extended hours - can't say enough good things about them. MG Just had a great couples massage with my wife today in the Bali room! Beautiful environment, great people. And not just a massage - the room has a bath for two and huge shower, and you get to stay there and relax after your massage. We had a great time! TW Avikai Spa was not a name known to me and I thought I knew about all the cool things that the plateau and Issaquah have to offer. My friends surprised me with a gift certicate for my 42nd birthday in April '08 and it has now turned into one of my favorite places to escape to. Hidden behind the GI Joe's, it is an oasis unto itself with @ 10,000 square feet of cool things to try -- fit vibe machines, music therapy, tropical retreat rooms (did a Sat AM for another friend's 41st birthday party which was divine), detoxing devices and simply great instruction on how to lead a more well managed and less taxing lifestyle. I try and go 3x a week to use the fit vibe which allows me an excellent all around muscle conditioning work out that I can basically do in my work clothes and while chatting with others. They have introduced yoga and belly dancing classes recently and I cannot wait to take them. The difference between Avikai and the others is simply that this place knows my name, my concerns, my friends, my likes/dislikes, my skin type, weight issues, etc.. and has consistently made me and others that I refer feel welcomed. It is unusual in a time of feeling rushed and often like a number, that this place makes me feel welcomed.. often with a cup of green tea and cheese and crackers to start, maybe ending with a glass of red wine and almonds.. whatever, it just works and I would highly reccomend giving it a try if you want something different and special all in one! I've gotten a professional air brushed tan for a film shoot I had down in LA...was incrediable especially how difficult my body shape is. I've had 2 different facials and keep up a skin regemine using NeoStrata products they carry that trully works. From the moment I call and walk in I'm treated as a friend, but even more so as someone special, sort of celebutant. The services and products offered are more than just a quick fix, it's sort of medication for the soul. Every time I'm stressed out, I can only think, when can I make another apt and I know they'll willing to fit me in on short notice. Honestly, Avikai is worth the money, drive and time. It's more than a spa, its an awakening escape from the mundane and the usual traffic congested freeways. TA If there would ever be a bad review of Avikai I probably wouldn't believe it.... Hands down one of the most unique and best spas that I have been to. The owner is not only amazing at what she does, but she is also one of the most passionate, caring and inspiring women I have ever met! I told her that I would pay her rent so I didn't ever have to leave ;) I'm sure if you try it (which you definitely should) you won't want to leave either!!! N I very much enjoyed my spa experience here, and the staff was lovely. I was given some very nice options for the facial, and the masseuse knew how to work the right muscle groups without being too forceful. The atmosphere was nice, and I will definitely come back to this spa. I'm glad Avikai is in Issaquah! EC I went to this spa a while ago and I had a great time at the spa, it was big and spacious and very quiet. My massage with Jacky was super, I would recommend her to anyone who has problems with their upper back. the only downside to this spa are the prices. it's a little steep, and I can't say for the rest of the services but the Jacky's massage was well worth it. MM I had a 4 separate wax treatments and they were great. Nice job on the hair removal and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Will recommend to all my friends and will go back again and again. MP The atmosphere in this spa is amazing! I was impressed by the attention to detail in all areas of Avikai, from the decour to the facial itself. The esthetician was incredibly knowledgable, and the facial massage was so relaxing. I will definitely be back for more!

It is very advance compared to local NW spas, it has a high end LA/ New York feel and I don't think you can find type of this atmosphere anywhere else in WA. Not only is the spa amazing the the staff and the treatments they offer are unbelievable. I was scared to try spay tan at first, but after my flawless golden glow I am now addicted to sun free tanning! I already lost 5 pounds this month too using only the Fitvibe. NA I have been using the FitVibe exercise machine at Avikai Spa in Issaquah for about 6 months. During that time with exercise and some simple lifestyle changes, I have lost a substantial amount of weight and gone down four dresses sizes. The exercises on the FitVibe are easy to perform and take only about 20 minutes to do. They are great for toning and strengthening muscle tissue. LR I went to Avikai Spa In July and went in for the testing to see where I was at in terms of my Health. It is really important to know that. Simple tests were taken,which it only took an hour and then was told about my Body Fat Analysis, Metabolic Rate Analysis, cholesterol, thyroid, and many more. With that I was given a program to follow. I have been on so many different diets that I believe that by body was stuck at the weight it was. One of the programs that they recommend is the Fit-Vibe machine. So I went on it for three times a week. In Two weeks I was shock and very happy to find that I have lost 7 lbs. It has taken forever to even lose a few pounds. I recommend the Spa for many reasons. The staff is wonderful. Dr Turcotte is always there checking on my results, it is a beautiful and peaceful place. So was Dr. Zorin & the FitVibe! DS In Sept.07 my daughter & I went to Avikai Spa for a bridal shower. She stayed longer & had a walk through. They showed her the FitVibe. She called me later & told me about it. She knows it’s hard for me to exercise. Mainly, I hate it. After 5 months I agree to met her there and check it out. I signed up for 12 sessions. I’m on week 4 now & look forward to going to Avikai, just to use this machine. I have toned enough to fit into a pair of jeans I could never really wear. (They’re baggy now) My appetite has cut in half & I find I’m craving healthier foods. Oh yes! I drive from Edgewood 3X a week. It costs about $10.50 everytime I come to Issaquah, but my health & happiness is worth it. VW I recently completed 10 Lipo Laser sessions at Avikai Spa and had great results.
